DRAPER - Two suspects are still at large after breaking into a Utah dealership, leaving with 4 vehicles and causing major building damage. The suspects drove through the store’s locked gates, and even into the building storefront. Two of the four vehicles were able to be located, with damage. Police are still working to find the two suspects, with an Audi and Lexus still outstanding.
From a security standpoint, it would appear the dealership had security cameras and locked gates. The article doesn’t state how the keys were accessed or if there is a key management system. Police were able to receive somewhat of a suspect description from the video, but still determining who was behind the heist/vandalism.
Are you considering a better key management system than your current method? The KeyMaster can help play a role in deterring thieves from gaining access to your keys within the dealership.
