Customized Geofences
Create an unlimited amount of geofences, as close or as far from your business.
Step 1: Scan
Now that you've set up your customized Geofences, any iLot user that scans the Asset Label QR code with their phone, will update its location.
After you've moved the car to a new location from a test drive, fleet run, or service work - you can simply scan the Asset Label and update the asset's GPS location.
Step 2: Return Keys
Option A: After you've updated your asset's location, you can simply return the keys to your iSafe for other users to know the details for both the key, and the vehicle.
Option B: What if a vehicle is moved, but the user forgets to scan the Asset Label QR? Your iSafe knows the keys were removed, but the vehicle's location has not yet been updated. Before the key is returned, the user is required to choose where it was last parked.
Step 3: Asset Location
Every iLot user can view an asset's geofence location and where they are, in relation to the last GPS QR scan.
