REVELSTOKE - A Canadian Ford dealership was able to recover a vehicle after a recent break-in at their service drive. Video surveillance shows the man searching through drawers and desks for keys around 2:30am, and then making a run for it, presumably after finding keys for a customer’s Ford F-350 Platinum.
The suspect used a saw to create an opening into the service bay door and forced himself into the building. Thankfully, the dealership was equipped with an alarm, which was set off by the man. The vehicle was able to be recovered, after being found almost 9 hours away from Revelstoke. The suspect was arrested for possession of stolen property over $10,000. The article does not state if the dealership is using a key control system for added security.
