5 New Jeeps Stolen After Key Box is Pried Open In Seconds

GREENWICH - More thefts occurred recently, similar to last week’s blog post, where a key box was pryed open, allowing thieves to drive off the lot with over $200,000 worth of Jeeps.

A detective with Greenwich PD noted in the article that thieves forcefully entered the key system, and managed to steal the keys in a simple crime that resulted in a big loss for the dealership. Thankfully, past thefts in Greenwich have resulted in 90% of vehicles recovered. There are no reports of these Jeeps recovered as of yet.
